On its own, chicken breast doesn’t have much of a flavor. But if you cook it in mustard, honey, and heavy cream, it becomes a wonder. Serve with some fried bacon, for that extra crunch element, and parsley for a fresh touch.

Ingredients Needed for Mustard and Honey Chicken

2 chicken breasts
vegetable oil for cooking
salt
pepper
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup heavy cream
1 bacon
1 teaspoon parsley

How to Make Mustard and Honey Chicken

  1. Cut the 2 chicken breasts in thin strips.
  2. Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet to a medium high temperature.
  3. Add the chicken strips and cook them until golden, on both sides.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the mustard to the skillet and roll the chicken in it.
  6. Add the honey over the chicken strips.
  7. Cook for a few minutes then add the heavy cream in the skillet.
  8. Keep stirring the chicken in the cream.
  9. Fry a slice of bacon.
  10. Serve the chicken and the sauce with fried bacon pieces.
  11. Sprinkle parsley.
