Make at home an atypical sandwich: remove the soft crumb of a demi baguette cut in halves and fill it with mushrooms, cheese, and onion! The best part is that you can play with the ingredients and remove or add anything you want!

Ingredients Needed for Mushroom Filled Baguette

½ red onion
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 mushrooms, diced
1 red bell pepper
salt
pepper
1 demi baguette
2 spring onions s, chopped
½ cup shredded mozzarella
1 tablespoon green olive, sliced

How to Make Mushroom Filled Baguette

  1. Preheat the oven to 340 degrees F/175 degrees C.
  2. Slice the red onion.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet and cook the red onion, the mushrooms, and the red bell pepper.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cut horizontally the demi baguette.
  6. Remove the soft crumb from each baguette half.
  7. Fill both baguette halves with the mushrooms mixture.
  8. Sprinkle the spring onion.
  9. Add the mozzarella and the green olives slices.
  10. Bake the filled baguettes for 7 minutes.
