Mozzarella Special Bread

When your friends are coming to visit you, and the dinner is not ready yet, make quick some special bread using some ready-made dough. It has mozzarella and pesto and, with some spring onion on top, you can reduce their hunger until the meal is ready!

Ingredients Needed for Mozzarella Special Bread

1 pound ready-made dough
2 ounces of pesto sauce
8 ounces of mozzarella
3.5 ounces of butter
2 garlic cloves
¼ cup spring onion, chopped

How to Cook Mozzarella Special Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 365 degrees F/185 degrees C.
  2. Cut 6 ounces/170 grams of mozzarella in 0.4-inch/1 cm side cubes.
  3. Grate the remaining mozzarella.
  4. Form, with your hands, small pitas, 2-inch/5 cm diameter.
  5. Using a teaspoon spread pesto sauce on the pitas.
  6. Put mozzarella cubes in the center of the pitas and form dough balls.
  7. Put the balls in a round shape baking tray.
  8. In a saucepan, melt the butter.
  9. Crush the garlic, add it in the butter, and mix them together.
  10. Use a silicone brush to coat the dough balls with butter.
  11. Spread on top the grated mozzarella.
  12. Bake the special bread for 20 minutes.
  13. Before you serve it, sprinkle some chopped spring onion on top.
