If you care for some incredibly easy to make, “self-contained” appetizers, you are in the right place. We’ll make our cups from cucumber by cutting it into thicker slices and scooping out some of the pulp. Fill them with hummus, sprinkle sesame seeds and paprika and there you have it.

Ingredients Needed for Hummus Cucumber Bites

    1 large cucumber
    6 ounces of store-bought hummus
    1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
    1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
    1 teaspoon paprika powder

How to Make Hummus Cucumber Bites

  1. Peel the cucumber and cut off both its ends. Using a fork scratch parallel grooves lengthwise, then cut it into pieces, approximately 1 inch thick.
  2. Using a smaller knife, scoop out the center of each cucumber piece.
  3. Fill a pipping bag with the store-bought hummus and fill up each cucumber piece.
  4. Sprinkle with black and white sesame seeds and paprika.
