Ingredients Needed for Hot and Spicy Salmon Fillet


For the hot & spicy mixture:

1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon dried coriander
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
salt
pepper

For the salmon:

1 pound salmon fillets (2 fillets 8-ounce each)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
orange zest
2 fresh oregano sprigs
½ orange, wedged
1 tablespoon olive oil

How to Make Hot and Spicy Salmon Fillet

  1. For the hot & spicy mixture:

    Add the brown sugar, dried coriander, cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt and pepper to a smaller bowl. Mix all.

  2. For the salmon:

    Place the fillets on the work surface. Cover them on both sides with the spice mixture and rub.

  3. Transfer them to a skillet, drizzle them with the lemon juice, and sprinkle some orange zest.
  4. Add the fresh oregano and orange wedges, drizzle the olive oil, then bake for 15 minutes at 360⁰F/180⁰C.
