Homemade Remoulade Sauce

Remoulade is a mayo-based sauce, that was invented in France. Our recipe also contains some mustard, pickles, capers, lemon juice, and tarragon. It was usually served with meats, but nowadays it accompanies dishes like fried fish or seafood. As a tip, it also works great with French fries.

Ingredients Needed for Homemade Remoulade Sauce

1 cup mayonnaise
1 small pickle, chopped
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon capers
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
salt

How to Cook Homemade Remoulade Sauce

  1. Add the mayo in a large bowl, along with the chopped pickles.
  2. Add the mustard, capers, lemon juice, parsley, tarragon, and salt.
  3. Mix everything with 1 teaspoon until smooth.
