Marinara is an Italian sauce, with a tomato base. It also contains onion, garlic, and herbs. It is often used in Italian-American cuisines, so you’ve probably served it countless times. But now, having the recipe, there’s no excuse for not trying it at home. It works great with pasta and meatballs.

Ingredients

2 garlic cloves, crushed
½ cup red wine
1 ½ cups of canned tomatoes
