Herb Crusted Sea Bream

When you want to eat fish, remember that it’s healthier to go for any other cooking method than the easy one: frying. Sometimes you need to spoil yourself and cook something more special, like this herb crusted sea bream.

Ingredients Needed for Herb Crusted Sea Bream

1 teaspoon fennel seeds
6 fresh basil leaves
1 cup fresh parsley
¼ cup almond
6 fresh oreganos leaves
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 tablespoon lemon zest
salt
pepper
1 sea bream
2 tablespoons of honey
½ lemon, sliced

How to Cook Herb Crusted Sea Bream

  1. Add the fennel seeds, basil, parsley, oregano, vegetable oil, lemon zest, salt, and pepper to a food processor. Pulse about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Lay the sea bream on your cutting board and make 3-4 diagonal cuts on each side. Spread honey on both sides of the sea bream, then coat it with the herb mixture. Insert lemon slices inside the fish.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, then add the sea bream on it. Drizzle olive oil on top.
  4. Move the tray to the oven and roast the fish for 45 minutes at 380˚F/190˚C.
