Ingredients Needed for Habanero and Bacon Hot Dog
2 slices bacon
1 small red onion, sliced
1 green chili, sliced
1 red chili, chopped
1 small spring onion, chopped
1 habañero chilli, sliced
salt
pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
2 bread rolls
2 cooked hot dog sausages
mustard for serving
How to Make Habanero and Bacon Hot Dog
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the bacon strips. Fry on both sides until crispy. Set aside.
- Add the red onion, green and red chili, spring onion, habanero, olive oil, and white wine vinegar to a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix until smooth.
- Horizontally cut one bread roll in half. Add 1/2 of the hot mixture, crumble some fried bacon on top, and add the hot dog. Garnish with mustard. Do the same for the other bread roll and the remaining ingredients.
