Ingredients Needed for Grilled Halloumi With Feta Sauce and Vegetable Salad


For the feta sauce:

¼ cup greek yogurt
3 ounces of feta cheese
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried mint
2 tablespoons of olive oil

Grilling the halloumi:

1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces of halloumi cheese

For the salad:

½ cucumber, sliced
4 ounces of cherry tomatoes
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
pepper
salt
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

How to Make Grilled Halloumi With Feta Sauce and Vegetable Salad

  1. For the feta sauce:

    Add the Greek yogurt, feta cheese, dried oregano, basil, mint, and the olive oil to a blender.

  2. Season with pepper, blend until smooth and set aside.
  3. Grilling the halloumi:
    Drizzle the oil on the grill surface and place the halloumi cheese on it.
  4. Grill on each side for 4-6 minutes.
  5. For the salad:
    Add the cucumber, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, and fresh basil to a bowl.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and mix using 2 spatulas.
  7. Serve the salad on a bed of feta mixture and top it with halloumi.
