Although colorful and funny-looking, these jelly shots are not for the kids. You'll find other uses for the citrus fruits’ pulp and keep their shells this time. Also, adding some beer into the mixture will bring a little cheekiness to this dessert. In fact, you can use pretty much any other alcoholic beverage you prefer.

Ingredients Needed for Gelatin Shots

1 orange
1 lemon
1 grapefruit
gelatin sheets
cold water
0.25 beer
orange food coloring

How to Make Gelatin Shots

  1. Cut the orange in half, scoop the pulp out and discard it. Do the same with the lemon and the grapefruit.
  2. Add 3-4 gelatin sheets to a bowl and cover them with cold water. Let them melt.
  3. Stir in a little, then pour the gelatin liquid into a pitcher. Add the beer and food coloring. Whisk until even.
  4. Add the scooped out shells to a baking dish or something. Fill each one with the colored gelatin liquid.
  5. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Serve them cut into wedges.
