Don't these garlic and bacon knots look playful? Not to mention they are so simple to make. Just take care, when assembling them, not to break the dough strips. Ask your kids to help, because these knots are so much fun to make.

14 ounces of pizza dough (2 normal pizza doughs 7-inch each)
7 ounces of bacon (12 bacon stripes)
1 egg for coating
1 tablespoon garlic powder

How to Make Garlic Bacon Knots

  1. Dust the work surface with flour, flatten the pizza doughs and cut them into strips. We’ve got 12 of them.
  2. Top each dough strip with one strip of bacon and make a simple knot. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and transfer the knots to it.
  3. Add the egg to a smaller bowl and whisk it. Coat the knots with the egg using a brush, then sprinkle them with garlic powder. Bake for 20 minutes at 400⁰F/200⁰C.
