Roe salad is a Balkan dish (Bulgaria, Greece, Romania). Be it “haiver”, “taramasalata”, or “salata de icre” it’s an incredibly delicious spread. Moreover, it is a 20-minute no-brainer. Basically, you just use your hand mixer to bring together vegetable oil, semolina, fish roe, and onion. You can serve it with some lemon.
