Egg in a Hole Sandwich

What are you in the mood for this breakfast? If you have no idea planned, let’s try this instagram-worthy egg in a hole sandwich! It’s ready in under half an hour, it has melted cheese, and a perfectly cooked egg, all inside a crispy toast bread. Beat that!

Ingredients

4 slices of toast bread
2 teaspoons of butter
2 slices of low moisture mozzarella
2 eggs
salt
pepper

Steps

  1. Spread the butter over one of the toast slices and top it with the mozzarella and another slice of bread.
  2. Use the remaining ingredients to make 1 more sandwich.
  3. Use a cooking ring (around 2 inches diameter) and make a hole inside the sandwiches.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and start toasting the sandwiches.
  5. Toast them for 1 minute and crack eggs inside the empty slots. Season them with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover with a lid and cook the bread for the next 15 minutes.
