Sometimes you don’t have time to bake. And for that moments frying is the solution! We have an idea of fried pizza crust easy to make. With a quick tomato sauce and some cheese, the good taste is guaranteed! Try different flavors by adding the toppings you love most!

Ingredients Needed for Deep Fried Pizza

1 tablespoon oil
2 garlic cloves
1 cup canned tomatoes
2 rosemary sprigs
½ teaspoon fresh thyme
½ lime
⅓ cup grated parmesan
3.5 ounces of pizza dough
2 mozzarellas sticks

How to Make Deep Fried Pizza

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet.
  2. Crush the garlic and add it in the skillet. After one minute, add the canned tomatoes.
  3. Add the rosemary sprigs, the thyme, and the juice from half of a lime.
  4. Cook them together in the skillet.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the parmesan (set aside 1 tablespoon of grated parmesan, you will need it later) and cook the tomato sauce for about 2 more minutes.
  7. Remove the rosemary sprigs.
  8. In another skillet, heat the remaining vegetable oil.
  9. Spread the pizza dough on your workspace and give it a round shape.
  10. Fry the dough in vegetable oil until the pizza crust becomes golden.
  11. Remove the crust and let it cool on a large plate.
  12. Spread on the crust the cooked tomato sauce.
  13. Sprinkle the remaining parmesan.
  14. Cut small pieces of mozzarella and add it on pizza.
  15. If you want, you can sprinkle some more fresh thyme.
