Ingredients Needed for Coconut Bars

3 cups of unsweetened coconut, grated
½ cup coconut oil, melted
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
½ cup melted dark chocolate

How to Make Coconut Bars

  1. Add the grated unsweetened coconut, coconut oil, and maple syrup to your food processor. Process for several minutes, until the mixture softens and looks like crumbly dough.
  2. Line a small baking pan (about 8 X 8 inches/20 X 20 cm) with parchment paper. Add the coconut filling in it, spread it around evenly and press it with a spatula. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Once solid, lift the whole chunk of coconut out by lifting the paper. Cut into desired shapes, then place on a cooling rack.
  4. Decorate with melted dark chocolate. Refrigerate for 30 more minutes.
