Chicken and Mango Salad

Chicken breast is thought to be quite boring, right? But this is not a serious reason to remove it from your menu – after all, chicken is a lean meat, therefore healthy for you. To make your chicken breast more appealing, follow this recipe – marinate the meat with a sweet and sour mixture made with brown sugar and apple cider vinegar. To spice things up, add some mango in the equation!

Ingredients Needed for Chicken and Mango Salad

1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons of lime juice
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon olive oil
10 ounces of cooked chicken breast, sliced
½ cabbage, head, shredded
½ red cabbage, head, shredded
1 spring onion, chopped
1 carrot, shredded
1 green chili, chopped
1 mango, cubed

How to Cook Chicken and Mango Salad

  1. Add the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, lime juice, garlic, olive oil, and chicken breast in a bowl. Mix a little, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Add the two types of cabbage, spring onion, carrot, chili, and mango to the marinated chicken breast bowl. Mix them together and serve.
