Chicken Mac and Cheese

Are you a fan of macaroni? Well, if you’re tired of the classic mac and cheese, you can try a chicken twist on it. As an extra, sprinkle some always-exotic garam masala, some spicy chilli flakes and mozzarella. It all makes for an enticing dish, and it’s ready in under half an hour!

Ingredients Needed for Chicken Mac and Cheese

    1 green bell pepper
    1 orange bell pepper
    1 yellow bell pepper
    1 onion
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    7 ounces of chicken breast
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon chili flakes
    ½ cup milk
    3 ounces of macaroni
    salt
    ¼ cup shredded mozzarella
    basil

How to Make Chicken Mac and Cheese

  1. Chop the onion and all bell peppers.
  2. Heat a skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and begin frying the chicken.
  3. Fry for about 3-4 minutes until meat turns white.
  4. Take out the meat and in the remaining fat fry onion and bell peppers.
  5. Stir and let the veggies soften up a bit.
  6. Add the chicken and season it with garlic powder and chili flakes.
  7. Add the milk and macaroni and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  8. Add shredded mozzarella and stir. Turn off the heat.
  9. Serve with fresh basil!
