No mood for cooking tonight? Well, we’ve all been there. But a nice trick you can use is cooking something simple, but savoury at the same time. Buy some nice chicken drumsticks, and season them to your liking. Cook them on the stove, making them golden and crispy, and serve them with some potatoes and green beans. If you want to keep things light a little you can roast the chicken and skip the potatoes.

Ingredients Needed for Chicken Drumsticks With Potatoes and Green Beans

    2 chicken drumsticks
    salt
    pepper
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 teaspoon dried oregano
    1 teaspoon paprika powder
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    vegetable oil for frying
    2 potatoes
    2 ounces of green beans
    2 garlic cloves, chopped

How to Make Chicken Drumsticks With Potatoes and Green Beans

  1. Superficially score the chicken drumsticks.
  2. Place them on a wooden board and season them with salt, pepper, olive oil, oregano, and cinnamon.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the chicken drumsticks and cook them until browned.
  5. Remove them from the skillet, and add the diced potatoes in the remaining fat.
  6. Cook them until they’re done, 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. Add the green beans and cook them for an additional 2 minutes. Mix the veggies with chopped garlic.
  8. Place the chicken on a plate and serve it with the veggie side.
