Fast food is a tempting and time-saving dinner option, but it’s not so easy on the digestive system. Do not pick up that fried chicken on your way home. Try these home-made chicken bites: they are healthier and fresher. Try them with some wedges, every time you crave junk food.

Ingredients Needed for Chicken Bites

2 ounces of pretzel
3 tablespoons of grated parmesan
7 ounces of chicken breast
½ cup flour
½ cup egg wash
vegetable oil for frying

How to Make Chicken Bites

  1. Put the pretzels and the parmesan in a blender and grind them.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into 0.6-inch side pieces.
  3. Make the egg wash by whisking 2 eggs and 3 tablespoons of milk.
  4. Coat the chicken pieces, by turn, with flour, egg wash, and pretzels and parmesan mixture.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet.
  6. Deep fry the chicken pieces on both sides.
  7. If you want, serve them with wedges and some mayonnaise or garlic sauce.
