Ingredients Needed for Cheddar Hot Dogs With Vienna Sausage

3 ounces of melted butter
2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
salt
4 hot dog buns
4 tablespoons of chili sauce, store-bought
4 vienna sausages
1 cup cheddar, shredded
fresh parsley for garnishing

How to Make Cheddar Hot Dogs With Vienna Sausage

  1. Add the melted butter, fresh parsley, garlic, and salt to a smaller bowl and mix them using a teaspoon.
  2. Cut some of the upper half lengthwise from the hot dog buns and scoop the crumb out. Remove the newly cut “lids”.
  3. Place the scooped buns into a smaller baking dish, coat their interior with butter and garlic mixture, fill each of them with a tablespoon of chili sauce, and add a Vienna sausage. Add the shredded Cheddar on top. Bake for 25 minutes at 380⁰F/190⁰C.
  4. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
