Ingredients Needed for Cheddar and Mashed Potato Patties

3 potatoes, cooked
1 tablespoon flour
½ teaspoon paprika powder
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon chili flakes
salt
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
2 ounces of cheddar cheese

How to Make Cheddar and Mashed Potato Patties

  1. Place the cooked potatoes in a large bowl and mash them.
  2. Add the flour, paprika powder, oregano, chili flakes, and salt. Mix everything with a fork until smooth.
  3. Cut the Cheddar into 4 square slices.
  4. Divide the potato mixture into 4 equal quantities. Shape 4 potato patties by adding a slice of Cheddar in the middle of each patty.
  5. Next, heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Lay the patties into the skillet one at a time and cook ithem for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden.
  7. Our suggestion is to serve them inside a sandwich, with a few tomato slices, some lettuce, and basil.
