How to Cook Caramelized Peaches and Lemons With Ice Cream
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sugar and, right after, the lemon slices. Let the sugar dissolves and flip the lemon slices over a few times.
- When softened and browned, take them out of the pan and place them in a bowl of ice and cold water. Let them stand in the bowl for a few minutes in order to stop the caramel from cooking further and help the sugar glaze remain firm.
- In the same skillet, add the peach slices and cook them for 3-4 minutes, on both sides. Peaches will begin to brown and soften. Add the peaches in the same water bowl.
- In the meantime, split the ice-cream into 2 separate bowls. Remove the fruits from the water and add them into the bowls. Serve the dessert with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon on top.
