Ingredients Needed for Caprese Omelet Sandwich

5 eggs
¼ cup milk
salt
pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, chopped
4 cherry tomatoes, quartered
4 ounces of fresh mozzarella
5 fresh basil leaveses
pita bread (optional)

How to Make Caprese Omelet Sandwich

  1. Crack the eggs and add them in a large bowl. Pour the milk and season with salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  2. Next, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic, and cherry tomatoes. Cook them for 1 minute. Add the whisked eggs.
  3. Stir the eggs and cook until the omelet reaches the desired consistency. About 1 minute before you turn off the heat, add the fresh mozzarella and fresh basil leaves.
  4. Serve the scrambled egg omelet inside pita bread.
