For the custard:

4 yolks
3 ounces of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup milk

For the topping:

3 ounces of raspberries
3 tablespoons of blueberries

How to Make Berry Gratin With Creme Anglaise

  1. For the custard:

    Add the yolks, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to a bowl. Mix until smooth using a hand mixer. Add the cornstarch and mix more.

  2. Add the milk to a cooking pot over low heat.
  3. Transfer the vanilla and yolk mixture to the milk pot. Boil for 10 minutes while continuously stirring.
  4. Transfer to serving bowls or ramekins. Top with raspberries and blueberries. Bake for 10 minutes at 360⁰F/180⁰C.
