For the custard:
3 ounces of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup milk
For the topping:
3 ounces of raspberries
3 tablespoons of blueberries
How to Cook Berry Gratin With Creme Anglaise
- For the custard:
Add the yolks, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to a bowl. Mix until smooth using a hand mixer. Add the cornstarch and mix more.
- Add the milk to a cooking pot over low heat.
- Transfer the vanilla and yolk mixture to the milk pot. Boil for 10 minutes while continuously stirring.
- Transfer to serving bowls or ramekins. Top with raspberries and blueberries. Bake for 10 minutes at 360⁰F/180⁰C.
