Ingredients Needed for Beer Shrimp Skillet

1 medium red onion, minced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon ginger, shredded
6 ounces of shrimp
salt
pepper
1 teaspoon chili flakes
½ cup beer
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon ketchup
¼ cup cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 spring onion, chopped (for garnishing)

How to Make Beer Shrimp Skillet

  1. Heat 1-2 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a skillet over low heat and add the onion. Cook and stir until tender.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger and stir them in. Add the shrimp. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Stir in.
  3. Add the beer, sugar, and ketchup. Stir in, then cook for 8 minutes.
  4. Mix the cornstarch and water into a small bowl, then add it to the pan and stir it in. Add the sesame oil, stir in and remove from heat. Serve garnished with spring onion.
