1 pound pork ribs
2 small shallots
2 garlic cloves
2 star anise
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon cloves
0.5 ounce ginger, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon tomato purée
1 cup beer

How to Cook Beer Braised Pork Ribs

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the pork ribs and cook them until evenly browned.
  3. Pour the beer and cook until it is boiling.
  4. Cover the skillet with aluminum foil and slide it into the oven for the next 60 minutes at 380 degrees F/190 degrees C.
