Beef and Broccoli Noodle Stir Fry

Asian-inspired cuisine is always the recommended way to go when you’re tired of the same old menu. This stir fry has sweet beef fried in honey, lemon & lime for a bit of sourness, and a touch of broccoli, just to keep things healthy. Serve it as a dinner for two!

Ingredients Needed for Beef and Broccoli Noodle Stir Fry

    9 ounces of round beef steak
    1 yellow bell pepper
    ½ lemon
    1 lime
    2 ounces of peanut
    2 tablespoons of olive oil
    salt
    1 tablespoon honey
    4 broccoli florets
    7 ounces of rice noodles
    1 tablespoon soy sauce

How to Make Beef and Broccoli Noodle Stir Fry

  1. Cut the steak in thin slices.
  2. Slice the yellow bell pepper.
  3. Cut the lime in half.
  4. Roast the peanuts in a cast-iron skillet heated to a medium temperature until they turn a brown color.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet.
  6. Add the beef slices into the skillet.
  7. Squeeze the lemon half over the beef and sprinkle some salt.
  8. Add the honey into the skillet.
  9. Cook the beef until it turns a golden brown color.
  10. Bring a pot of water to a boil and then pour it in a bowl.
  11. Add the noodles and leave them in for 3-4 minutes. Strain the noodles.
  12. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil into a wok. Heat it.
  13. Stir fry the yellow bell pepper slices and the broccoli florets cut into halves.
  14. Add the beef and the boiled noodles into the wok.
  15. Pour the soy sauce and squeeze the lime over the wok.
  16. Cook it for a few minutes until all the flavors bleed together.
  17. Add the roasted peanuts.
