  1. These pancakes were horrible. I could not flip them over as they crumbled. No matter how long I cooked them or lowered the heat, increased the flame. Not very good .

    1. I know the feeling. Next time try adding a tablespoon of vegetable oil (I use sunflower oil). The mixture will be more firm and it will not stick to the pan.

    1. Cheer up, Jane. We have good news: “Oats are not related to gluten-containing grains such as wheat, barley and rye. They don’t contain gluten, but rather proteins called avenins that are non-toxic and tolerated by most celiacs.” Read more on Celiac Answer Bank on University of Chicago’s website. Still, thank you for your attention to details.

    1. Hello, Martha, thank you for asking. Let’s do the math! The nutritional information are listed “per serving”. In this case, the recipe presents 6 pancakes (3 servings), therefore 2 pancakes (1 serving) will amount to 197 calories, about 98 calories for each pancake.

  2. Horrible.
I could not flip them as it was like flipping goo and when I did get them flipped there was no resemblance to a round pancake just a pile of goo and burnt on the underside.
