Bacon, mozzarella, and egg? Is there a better combo than that? We think not, and today, we’re proud to present this dish that really demonstrates that. Follow the instructions and be careful not to over bake the cups, because you want the egg yolk to be runny. Want to add a bit more flavor? Just use some jalapenos, chili flakes and parsley.

Ingredients Needed for Bacon, Mozzarella and Egg Cups

12 bacon strips
1 cup shredded mozzarella
3 eggs
1 jalapeno, sliced
chili flakes
parsley

How to Make Bacon, Mozzarella and Egg Cups

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
  2. Use 3 ramekins. Line the inside of each ramekin with 4 bacon slices, in a flower pattern.
  3. Leave room in the middle and add shredded mozzarella.
  4. Carefully, break the egg over the mozzarella.
  5. Bake the cups in the oven for the next 20 minutes.
  6. When ready, serve them with jalapeno slices, chili flakes, or parsley!
