Bacon and Eggs in a Jar

We think there’s more to food than just the taste of it – the presentation is also important. So, we’ve decided to prepare a classic breakfast, eggs with some bacon, cheese, and veggies, and serve them in a new style. We’ve added everything in jars, cracked an egg on top, and placed them into the oven.

Ingredients Needed for Bacon and Eggs in a Jar

    4 bacon slices, chopped
    6 eggs
    1 leek, chopped
    1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
    1 red bell pepper, chopped
    2 spring onions, chopped
    2 ounces of cheddar, shredded
    2 ounces of low moisture mozzarella, shredded
    1 ounce baby spinach
    1 ounce arugula
    salt
    pepper

How to Make Bacon and Eggs in a Jar

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the chopped bacon. Cook and stir until the fat melts.
  2. Crack 3 eggs into 3 separate jars.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
  4. Use the bacon, veggies, and cheese, and fill the jars according to your preferences.
  5. Crack the remaining 3 eggs on top of the jars, one egg for each jar. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Slide the jars into the oven and cook them for 20 minutes.
  7. Serve them warm!
