You should try these not-for-the faint-hearted starters for your next party. If you want to leave your guests in awe, that is. These rolls have 3 types of cheese, fried bacon and pungent jalapeno in them. Serve them with a white sauce and if these guys are not hot enough for you, add some chili flakes to the sauce, too.

Ingredients Needed for Bacon and Cheddar Jalapeno Rolls

    5 ounces of cheddar, grated
2 fried bacon slices, finely chopped
5 ounces of low moisture mozzarella, grated
    1 tablespoon cream cheese
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    16 jalapenos
    4 puff pastry sheets, quartered

How to Make Bacon and Cheddar Jalapeno Rolls

  1. Add the Cheddar, bacon, mozzarella, and cream cheese to a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then mix until even using a tablespoon or a spatula.
  2. Take 1 jalapeno, cut its both ends, remove the seeds, stuff it with cheese mixture, then wrap it and roll it with a puff pastry sheet. Follow the same path for the remaining ingredients. You’ll end up with 16 jalapeno rolls.
  3. Fill a deeper frying pan halfway with vegetable oil and heat it.
  4. Deep-fry the rolls for 2-3 minutes, then transfer them on paper towels. Serve with a white sauce.
