Apple Cake

We’re very in love with desserts and constantly experimenting with them. For the base of this apple cake, we used eggs, some milk, and green apple slices. For topping purposes, we used even more green apple. As a sweetener, we used mainly brown sugar, but then we glazed the cake with powdered sugar. The result is fabulous in flavor and so delicious!

Ingredients Needed for Apple Cake

2 eggs
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest
salt
¾ cup flour
½ tablespoon baking powder
¼ cup milk
2 apples, sliced
more brown sugar
powdered sugar

How to Cook Apple Cake

  1. Beat the eggs using the kitchen mixer. Add the brown sugar, lemon zest, and salt.
  2. Add the flour, baking powder and milk and mix again. Add one sliced apple, too, and mix some more.
  3. Pour this mix into a cake form. Place the remaining apple slices neatly on top of the mix and sprinkle some brown sugar.
  4. Bake for 35 minutes at 360⁰F/180⁰C.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
