8 ounces of tuna steaks (2 pieces 4-ounce each)

How to Make Coffee-Rubbed Tuna Steaks

  1. Add the coffee, chili powder, and cinnamon to a small bowl. Season with sea salt and pepper and mix.
  2. Coat the tuna with the coffee mixture. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a skillet and add the steaks.
  3. Turn the heat to high and fry the fish on both sides until browned. Serve with lemon wedges.

Ingredients Needed for Sugar-Glazed Coffee Biscuits

2 cups of flour
5 ounces of butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 tablespoons of heavy cream
¼ cup water
½ cup pecan nuts, chopped
½ cup powdered sugar

For the glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons of milk
1 tablespoon coffee
1 tablespoon maple syrup
pistachio (optional)

How to Make Sugar-Glazed Coffee Biscuits

  1. For the dough, add the butter and flour to a large bowl.
  2. Use your hands and slowly mix until the mixture looks like crumbles. Add salt, baking powder, sugar, and mix again.
  3. Add the egg, maple syrup, heavy cream, and a bit of water to make the mixture a tad more liquid.
  4. Use your hands and mix until the liquid is absorbed, and then add the pecans.
  5. Add the powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/175 degrees C.
  7. Dust your working space with flour and place the dough in the middle. Level it with a rolling pin.
  8. Shape the dough into 4 inches (10 cm) long squares. Diagonally slice the squares into halves, creating triangles.
  9. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the triangles on it.
  10. Slide the tray into the oven for the next 25 minutes.
  11. Add the powdered sugar to a large bowl. Add the milk, coffee, and maple syrup. Use a tablespoon and mix until smooth.
  12. Dip the biscuits in the coffee glaze and serve them with some crushed pistachios.

½ cup milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

5 graham crackerses, crumbled
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder

For the sugar glaze:

½ cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk

How to Make Chocolate and Coffee Muffins

  1. Preheat the oven to 360°F/180°C.
  2. Place the chocolate chips and the instant coffee in a large bowl.
  3. Pour 1 tablespoon of milk and whisk until you obtain a smooth liquid.
  4. Add the egg in a large bowl. Add the vanilla, olive oil, and whisk until smooth. Add the chocolate and coffee mix and whisk everything together.
  5. Sift the flour through a strainer in a large bowl. Add the cocoa, graham crackers, brown sugar, white sugar, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix.
  6. Pour the wet mixture and the remaining milk, and whisk everything until smooth. The dough should be enough for 6-8 muffins.
  7. Pour the mixture into individual muffin molds.
  8. Bake the muffins for the next 25 minutes.
  9. For the sugar glaze, place the powdered sugar in a large bowl. Slowly pour and stir the milk into the sugar, a little at a time, to make a smooth, pourable glaze.
