10 ounces of minced meat

Ingredients Needed for Sweet Potato Burger Bites

1 large sweet potato, thickly sliced (or 2 medium sweet potatoes)
8 ounces of canned red beans
⅓ cup sweet corn
⅓ cup Monterey Jack cheese, diced
1 small spring onion, chopped
1 egg white
pepper
salt
½ cup cornflour
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
2 ounces of lettuce

How to Make Sweet Potato Burger Bites

  1. Cut the sweet potato into 12 somewhat thicker slices. Grill them for 7 minutes.
  2. Add the canned beans and sweet corn to a bowl. Mash them using an immersion blender.
  3. Keep adding the Monterey Jack cheese, spring onion, egg white, and 1/2 of all the cornflour. Season with salt and pepper and mix until even using a rubber spatula.
  4. Start forming patties from this mixture. We’ve got 6 of them. Refrigerate them for 30 minutes.
  5. Spread the remaining cornflour on your work surface. Coat the patties with it.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over low heat. Fry the patties until browned on both sides, or for approximately 7 – 8 minutes.
  7. Spread the mayonnaise on 6 slices of sweet potato, add lettuce and 1 patty. Top with the remaining 6 slices. Serve them skewered.

  1. Add the ground beef and egg in a bowl and mix. Season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  2. Use your hands and shape the mixture into 4 burger patties.
  3. Start preparing the foil wraps.

How to Make Bacon and Peanut Butter Cheeseburger

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the bacon in it and cook it until golden.
  2. Add the ground beef in a large bowl and mix it with fried bacon, chili flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, egg, and peanut butter. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix it with a spatula to combine the ingredients.
  4. Pour a drop of olive oil into your hands and shape the mixture into 2 burger patties.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the butter in it and melt it.

How to Make Roasted Chicken Burger

  1. Lay the chicken on your wooden breast and season it with salt, pepper, and basil on all sides.
  2. Add a few rosemary sprigs inside it and tie its wings and legs with a string. This is called trussing and it helps to cook the chicken better.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the chicken in the tray. Pour a small drizzle of olive oil over it.
  4. Slide it into the oven and bake the chicken for the next 90 minutes at 350 degrees F/175 degrees C.
  5. Take the chicken out of the tray and place it on your wooden board. Add the juices from the tray in a small bowl. Remove the meat from the chicken with a fork and knife and chop it.

4 ounces of salmon, minced
2 teaspoons of red chili paste
7 ounces of cooked sushi rice
2 tablespoons of cream cheese
1 lettuce leaf
½ small avocado, sliced
black sesame seeds for garnishing
white sesame seeds for garnishing
wasabi for serving
soy sauce for serving

How to Make Avocado and Salmon Sushi Burger

  1. Add the minced salmon and chili paste to a smaller bowl and mix them. Set aside.
  2. Line a ramekin with plastic wrap. Add half of the cooked rice to it and press gently. Turn the ramekin upside down on a platter or smaller tray, remove it, and also discard the plastic wrap. Set aside the rice patty thus formed.
  3. Repeat the last step with the remaining rice using a ramekin or a smaller bowl.
  4. Spread one of the rice patties with chili salmon mixture. Add the cream cheese, the lettuce, more chili salmon mixture, and the avocado. Top with the other rice patty.
  5. Garnish with black and white sesame seeds and serve with wasabi and soy sauce.

How to Make Sunny Side Up Egg and Avocado Burger

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet and cook the burger patty on both sides until browned, around 3-4 minutes on each side. Set it aside.
  2. Heat the remaining olive oil in another skillet. Fry the egg. To make a sunny side up egg, after you crack the egg, cover the skillet and cook until the top of the egg white is set but the yolk is still runny. When ready, remove the skillet from the heat and take the egg out using a spatula. Place it on your chopping board and remove its edges using a stainless steel cooking ring.
  3. Place the burger patty on a plate. Next, add the mashed avocado. Place the egg on top. Season with sea salt, pepper, and hot sauce.

For the quinoa patties:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, diced
1 cup cooked quinoa (from 1 cup of uncooked quinoa)
1 zucchini, julienned
½ cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 whisked egg

For the mushrooms:

4 portobello mushroom caps
4 tablespoons of olive oil
salt
pepper

For assembling the burgers:

4 ounces of baby spinach
2 yellow bell pepper slices
1 medium tomato, sliced (8 slices)
1 medium-small red onion, sliced (6 rings)

How to Make Mushroom and Quinoa Burger

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over low heat and add the onion. Cook and stir until tender. Set aside.
  2. For the quinoa:

    Rinse the quinoa using a strainer under cool, running water. Fill a pot with 2 cups of water, add salt and bring it to a boil. Add the quinoa and cook, covered, for 15 minutes or until the water has been absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.

  3. For the quinoa patties:

    Add the cooked quinoa, zucchini, whole wheat flour, cooked onion, cayenne pepper, garlic, and the whisked egg. Season with salt and mix all until even.

  4. Use this mixture to form 2 big flat patties.
  5. Line a baking dish with parchment paper, place the patties in there, and bake for 20 minutes at 350⁰F/175⁰C.
  6. For the mushrooms:

    Place the Portobello mushrooms in a baking dish, drizzle them with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, then bake for 10 minutes at 400⁰F/200⁰C.

  7. Assemble the sandwiches:

    Place one Portobello cap upside-down on the work surface. Start adding on top of it: 1 ounce of baby spinach leaves, 1 quinoa patty, 1 slice of bell pepper, 4 tomato slices, and, again, 1 ounce of baby spinach. Top with a Portobello cap. Do the same for the second sandwich.

How to Make Harissa Lamb Burger

  1. Add the cumin seeds in your grinder. Add the paprika, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into 2 burger patties.
  3. Rub the patties with vegetable oil and coat them with the spice mix.
  4. Grill the buns for 2 minutes until crispy, and the burger for 5-6 minutes per side. Of course, you can change the cooking times according to your grill and preferences.
  5. In the meantime, take care of the sauce.
  6. Add the yogurt in a bowl, along with the olive oil, lemon juice, harissa, and mint. Mix it until smooth.
  7. Assemble 2 burgers and serve them with the sauce!

8 tablespoons of tzatziki
2 medium tomatoes, sliced

How to Make Turkey and Tzatziki Cheeseburgers

  1. For the burger patty:
    Add the turkey mince and spinach (after you squeeze the water out of it) to a bowl. Crumble the feta cheese, then add the dried oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix all until even using your hands.
  2. Form burger patties from the mixture. We’ve got 4 of them. Grill for 4-6 minutes on each side.
  3. Cut a burger bun in half. Add 1 lettuce leaf, a burger patty, and 2 tablespoons of tzatziki.
  4. Top with 3 tomato slices, 3-4 cucumber slices, 3-4 onion rings or slices, and the bun’s upper half. Do this with the other 3 burger buns.
