How to Make Sesame Pork Open Sandwiches

  1. Cut the grilled tenderloin into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Add it to the blender together with the egg, spring onion, and chili. Season with the pepper, salt, oregano, thyme, and curry.
  3. Mash everything, then spread the mixture on the bread.
  4. Add the sesame seeds on a plate. Press each slice coated-face-down into the seeds.
  5. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a pan over low heat and add the open sandwiches.
  6. Fry them for 2 minutes on both sides.

Making sandwiches is an art in itself. Here’s only one example. We coated these open sandwiches with a creamy mixture made with pork tenderloin, egg, spring onion, and chili, all mashed together and spiced. All this needed a matching topping, so the sesame seeds (white & black) won the contest.

2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 baguette, halved
lettuce, chopped

How to Make Po Boy Sandwich

  1. Add the eggs and 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning to a bowl and whisk them.
  2. Add the shrimp and mix to coat them. Set aside.
  3. Add the flour and panko to another bowl and mix them.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Coat the shrimp with the flour mixture and add them to the pan.
  6. Fry them for 3 minutes on both sides.
  7. Add the mayo, sour cream, lemon juice, W-sauce, garlic, and the remaining Cajun seasoning to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix until even.
  8. Cut each half of a baguette horizontally in two. Make two sandwiches by spreading mayo mixture and topping with lettuce, fried shrimp, and tomato slices.

In no more than 20 minutes the Po’ Boy sandwich will come straight from Louisiana and end up right on your plate. We made our Po-Boy shrimp-themed and flavored it with Cajun seasoning, Worchester sauce, and lemon juice.

3 ounces low moisture mozzarella, grated
red food coloring
yellow food coloring
blue food coloring

How to Make 3-Color Mozzarella Sandwich

  1. Add each ounce of mozzarella to a smaller bowl. Color each one.
  2. Top 3 bread slices with red, yellow, and blue-colored cheese.
  3. Top with the remaining slices and coat with melted butter.
  4. Heat 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Add the sandwiches and fry them for 2 minutes (or until golden brown) on each side.

If you have nothing against using food coloring, then go ahead and bring some color to your sandwiches. Something tells us that kids and teenagers will appreciate the new look.

2 teaspoons of olive oil
1 red onion, sliced
2 teaspoons of vinegar
8 ounces of lamb mince
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
3 garlic cloves, crushed
2 ciabatta buns
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tomato slices
2 ounces of arugula
4 red onion rings
1 tablespoon mustard
2 ounces of french fries

How to Make Lamb Mince Ciabatta Sandwich

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over low heat and add the red onion. Cook and stir until tender.
  2. Add the vinegar and stir in. Set aside.
  3. Add the lamb mince, rosemary, and crushed garlic to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix until even using your hands.
  4. Shape 2 patties from this mixture and press them into a 4-inch round form (or cookie cutter).
  5. Heat a drizzle of oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the patties and fry them for 6 minutes on both sides.
  6. Cut the ciabatta buns horizontally in half. Coat the lower half of the first with mayonnaise, add the cooked onion, the tomato slices, and one patty. Top with one ounce of arugula, onion rings, and the upper half of the bun.
  7. Coat the second bun’s lower half with most of the mustard, add the remaining ounce of arugula, the French fries, and the second patty. Top with the remaining mustard and the upper half.

This time let’s use ciabatta buns for our sandwiches. That’s why we’ll use olive oil to pan-cook the onion. The main ingredient will be the lamb mince. Also have ready some French fries, mayonnaise, mustard, tomato slices, and arugula. These guys will put you on your feet for the rest of the day.

2 pounds of pork shoulder
3 bay leaves

2 cups of arugula

How to Make Pulled Pork Sandwiches With Arugula

  1. Add the crushed garlic, salt, rosemary, chili flakes, pepper, fennel seeds, and olive oil to a small bowl. Mix until even.
  2. Add the pork shoulder to a roomy baking dish and coat it with the mixture. Marinate for 2 hours.
  3. Heat 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a pan over high heat and add the pork. Fry for 6 minutes on both sides.
  4. Transfer the seared pork to the slow cooker, add the bay leaves and cook for 4 hours.
  5. Transfer the cooked meat on the work surface and shred it.
  6. Cut each bun horizontally in half. Make sandwiches using the pulled pork and arugula.

If you want these sandwiches on your table, you’ll have to be patient. In order to get this flavorful and tender pulled pork, you must marinate the meat for 2 hours, pan-sear it, then slow cook it for another 4 hours. Finally, when you assemble your sandwiches top the meat with refreshing arugula. All in all, it is worth the wait, believe us.

How to Make Carrot and Chickpea Bread Roll Sandwich

  1. Add the carrot, diced onion, chickpeas, oats, garlic, and egg to a blender. Season with salt and pepper and blend.
  2. Add the olive oil and lemon juice and blend more until smooth.
  3. Start shaping rectangular patties from the mixture. We’ve made 4.
  4. Heat 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the patties for 8 minutes on both sides.
  5. Cut the buns in half and assemble the burgers: stack 1 salad leaf, 1 patty, 1-2 tomato slices, avocado, and sliced red onion for each one. Coat the upper half of each bread roll with mustard. Pin down each sandwich with a skewer, if you want.

You can make this exactly as we did, or you can transform it very easily into a burger, by using a classic burger bun. Either way, you’ll end up with vegetarian little sandwiches filled with lemon-flavored chickpea, oat, and carrot patties, with salad greens, avocado, and tomato slices.

1 whole wheat bread (muffuletta)

How to Make Muffuletta Sandwich

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and add the zucchinis and red bell peppers. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and bake for 40 minutes at 360⁰F/180⁰C.
  2. Split the muffuletta bread horizontally approximately 1 inch from the top and remove the crumb.
  3. Coat its interior with 2 tablespoons of salsa sauce. Layer some basil leaves on the bottom, then alternately add mortadella, cheddar, and cooked veggies.
  4. Finish with more basil and with the remaining tablespoon of salsa, then cover with the upper half of the bread.
  5. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Originally, the muffuletta sandwich (named from the bread) sprang up in Sicily, only to cross the ocean later. We show you how to put together your own. Instead of sesame bread, we used a whole wheat one. First, it can be no muffuletta without mortadella, olive oil, and cheese.   1. Add the cottage cheese, fill, and lemon juice to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix until even.
  2. Make a sandwich tower by spreading each mini pita with cream cheese mixture and alternately adding radish slices and smoked salmon.
  3. Top the last pita with the cherry tomatoes. Spread the exterior of the tower with the remaining cream cheese mixture and garnish with chives.

Is this a sandwich cake or a sandwich tower? Any way you name it, you should try your hand at it. It’s a no-brainer made by stacking 4 mini pita loaves of bread. You spread them with a lemony cottage cheese and dill mixture and top each one with radish slices and smoked salmon. So, do you have 15 minutes?

4 bread buns
2 tablespoons of butter
4 ounces of lettuce
2 pickles, sliced
2 tablespoons of chili sauce
1 tablespoon broccoli sprouts

How to Make Hot and Spicy Lamb Sandwiches

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over low heat and add the onion. Cook and stir until tender.
  2. Add the ginger and curry paste. Stir them in. Add the lamb and turn the heat to medium-high. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
  3. Add the garlic powder, five-spice powder, season with salt and pepper. Cook and stir until the lamb meat is browned.
  4. Add the sweet corn and spring onion. Cook and stir for 1 more minute.
  5. Horizontally cut the buns in half. Spread butter on each one’s lower half. Add lettuce, sliced pickles, and some of the cooked lamb mixture. Top with hot chili sauce and broccoli sprouts.

If you’re in the mood for tasty sandwiches, preparing your own customized ones would be a much more interesting choice. You can use lamb, which tastes great and it’s a real treat for fans.
