Ingredients Needed for Minced Beef With Homemade Tortillas

12 ounces flour
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup warm water
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
14 ounces ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili flakes
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
pepper
6 ounces tomato paste
1/2 cup water
2-3 tablespoons heavy cream
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
salt
1-2 teaspoons lime juice

How to Make Minced Beef With Homemade Tortillas

  1. Add the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt to the dough mixer bowl. Mix shortly, using a spatula.
  2. Add the oil and start mixing. Gradually add the warm water in the process. Keep mixing until you have a dough, then set aside.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and add the meat.
  4. Break it into smaller pieces. Cook and, occasionally, stir, until the meat browns.
  5. Season with garlic powder, chili flakes, Cajun seasoning, and pepper. Stir.
  6. Stir in the tomato paste, water, heavy cream, and parsley.
  7. Season with salt and lime juice. Cook and stir for 1 more minute and remove from heat.
  8. Break the dough into lumps and flatten them with the rolling pin. You want tortilla-sized dough discs.
  9. Place them on the baking tray on parchment paper and bake them for 15 minutes at 400ºF/200ºC. You may need to do this in batches.

For the ribs:

2 tablespoons of red peppercorns
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
2 pounds of pork ribs, chopped

How to Make Pork Ribs With Homemade Pesto Sauce

For the ribs:
  1. Add the red peppercorns and fennel seeds to a mortar and grind them.
  2. Add the pork ribs, the peppercorn and fennel mixture, smoked paprika, chili flakes, dried oregano, and vegetable oil to a bowl. Season with salt and mix until ribs are completely coated.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and add the coated ribs. Spread them evenly.
  4. Cover the tray with aluminum foil and bake for 90 minutes at 430⁰F/220⁰C.
For the sauce:
  1. Heat the skillet over low heat and add the pine nuts. Stir-fry them until golden brown.
  2. Transfer them to a mixer bowl. Add the basil and mint leaves, parmesan, and vegetable oil. Season with salt and pepper and mix until smooth.
  3. Serve the ribs together with a bowl of sauce.

  1. Heat 2 saucepans over medium heat and fill them halfway with water.
  2. Add the pork shoulder and belly in one of the saucepans, and place the liver in the other one.
  3. Spice up with black peppercorns, 1 teaspoon of salt, and bay leaves.
  4. Boil for the next 45 minutes.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until translucent.
  6. Set up your food processor and add the boiled meat and the sauteed onion in it.
  7. Blend for 1 minute and add the butter.
  8. Blend and slowly pour the chicken stock.
  9. Blend until smooth and creamy.
