1 tablespoon vegetable oil
¼ red onion, chopped
6 ounces of dried beans
½ cup tomato sauce
salt
parsley

How to Make Stewed White Beans With Tomato Sauce

  1. Heat a skillet and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add red onion and cook until it softens, for a couple of minutes.
  2. Add beans and tomato sauce and let them simmer for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens.
  3. Season with salt and when it has finished cooking add parsley.
  4. You can also serve this side dish with fried eggs and sausages.
