Shrimp Spaghetti

Cooking shrimp is nothing of a big deal - you'll know exactly when they're done thanks to their bright pink colour. In fact, it's a matter of minutes until you have your shrimp nicely done. We like to enjoy our shrimp with a bit of butter and garlic, but when comes to pasta, we pair them with spaghetti, lots of parmesan and parsley.




Ingredients
  • 5 ounces (140 grams) spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, slices
  • 14-16 shrimp
  • 1/4 cup (65 ml) white wine
  • 3.5 ounces (100 grams) cherry tomatoes
  • 1 handful fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup (70 grams) grated parmesan
Preparation
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  • Add the spaghetti and cook them according to the instructions on the package.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a skillet.
  • Throw the garlic in the skillet, add the shrimp and cook them until they're opaque and bright pink.
  • Add the white wine and let everything simmer for a few minutes.
  • Season with pepper and salt and cook further, until the wine reduces to half.
  • Drain the pasta and add it in the pan.
  • Add the cherry tomatoes, parsley, and parmesan.
  • Mix to combine the ingredients and cook for 1-2 more minutes.
