Cheesy and Creamy Gnocchi

Thanks to their moist, delicate texture and their wonderful flavor, gnocchi are definitely one of our favorite types of pasta. They’re so good, you won’t need to add any meat to them. Just serve them tucked in a thick, creamy sauce, topped with some parmesan and mozzarella. The result is simply delicious!

  • 7 ounces (200 grams) gnocchi
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 cup (225 grams) heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup (35 grams) parmesan, shredded
  • 2 ounces (55 grams) mozzarella, cubed
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Fill a large saucepan with water, add salt, and place it on your stove. Bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the gnocchi and cook them according to the instructions on the package.
  • Next heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the gnocchi and the butter. Melt the butter and stir until the gnocchi turns golden.
  • Add the heavy cream and then reduce the heat.
  • Add the parmesan, and mozzarella. Stir and cook further until the cheese melts.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and add chopped parsley.
  • Wait until the sauce thickens and turn off the heat.
